Learning Development & Impact
Learning, Development & Outcomes
At Baskerville School, we want every pupil to experience an education that is ambitious, meaningful and shaped around their individual strengths and needs.
Our curriculum is only one part of that journey. Learning at Baskerville also includes communication, independence, emotional regulation, relationships, personal development and preparation for adulthood. We therefore look carefully at the whole experience of each pupil and the progress they make over time.
The sections below provide a picture of how we are developing our work across the school. They explain our approach to curriculum and teaching, inclusion, achievement, personal development, attendance and behaviour, and Post-16 provision.
Together, these areas show how we work to ensure that pupils are well supported, appropriately challenged and increasingly able to participate, achieve and prepare for the next stage of their lives.
We regularly review our practice, listen to pupils and families, and use a range of evidence to understand what is working well and where further improvement is needed. Our aim is simple: to know our school well, keep improving, and secure the best possible outcomes for every pupil.
