Get Involved

Support Our Students

There are lots of ways employers, organisations and community partners can support our students as they prepare for life beyond Baskerville.

You could share your career journey, welcome students into your workplace, support work experience, run a practical activity, judge an enterprise project or simply help our students learn more about the world of work.

You don't need to be an expert in working with young people. We'll work with you to make the experience appropriate and meaningful for our students.

Ways You Can Get Involved

  • Workplace Visits - Welcome a small group of students to your workplace and help them understand what happens there.

  • Work Experience - Offer a short, supported work experience opportunity for a student or small group.

  • Employer Talks & Workshops - Tell students about your industry, career journey, job roles or the skills needed in your sector.

  • Practical Projects - Work with students on a real project, challenge or practical activity.

  • Enterprise - Support student enterprise projects, pop-up shops, competitions or judging panels.

  • Mock Interviews - Help students practise their communication and interview skills in a supportive environment.

  • Careers Events - Take part in careers fairs, pathway events or other activities that help students explore their future.

Why Get Involved?

Working with Baskerville can help organisations:

  • Support young people with SEND to develop confidence and employability skills.

  • Help students understand the world of work.

  • Develop your team's experience of inclusive practice.

  • Support your organisation's social value and community engagement.

  • Help young people discover industries and careers they may not otherwise encounter.

Building Skills for Life and Work

Our students develop eight essential skills through lessons, work experience, enterprise and real-world experiences.

Listening • Speaking • Problem Solving • Creativity • Adaptability • Planning • Leadership • Teamwork

Employers and community partners can help students practise these skills in real-life situations.

Our Employer & Community Partners

We work with a wide range of employers, education providers, charities and community organisations to create meaningful experiences for our students.

Our partnerships continue to grow as we develop new opportunities across our Careers & Enterprise programme.
